Certification & Testing Center

Prepare materials:

Test candidates for proctored tests should contact the Certification & Testing Center in advance of the desired test date to provide materials for the test.
Proctor fee payment can be paid at the time of your appointment by money order only. Proctor fees apply for the following: $40 for non-TCC students who take online classes 在其他学院/大学.

The GED® 考试对公众开放. 资格要求如下:
- Anyone who has not graduated from high school and is 19 years of age or older may take the GED®.
- 16 to 18 years old Washington residents must get a “Request for Approval to Test General Educational Development Certificate” signed by a local high school official.

All reservations must be made 24 hours in advance for GED® testing.

If you have a physical or learning disability that requires special testing accommodations:

- Bring your paperwork and doctor's documentation to the Certification and Testing Center in TCC Bldg. 6
- The approval process for special accommodations can take several weeks. Contact the Certification and Testing Center well in advance of the date you want to test.
- Verify your identity with a government issued photo ID (such as a WA State driver's 执照、护照、军官证或西澳官方身份证).
- High school or college I.D. cards are not acceptable.
- All I.D. cards must contain 5 elements: your name, photo, date of birth, current address and signature.

At each testing session a Testing staff member will check your WA State ID, have you sign the necessary documentation, check you in at the proctor station, take your photo, and then seat you at the workstation to take your computer based test.
